Back from Paris on Monday night...I just had mad days yesterday and the day before : 5 wash machines, ironing, supermarket, hairdresser, 2 appointments to the veterinarian, healthy meals after 4 days in Parisian restaurants, papers done, bills paid....and so on....everybody knows that....
And yesterday, I packed back suitcases and drove 7 hours from Switzerland, through Italy, to go to Nice in south of France.
It's one of the advantage of living in center Europe: I woke up in Switzerland, had a lunch in Italy and a dinner in France tonight!
So ...French riviera here I'm ! We are in a splendid hotel facing the Mediterranean Sea.
My wife and I were staying in Thonon les Bain , many years ago and it was due to pour down rain for most of our stay, so we got in the car and drove to Avignon where it was warm and sunny. I envy you living there. Thanks for sharing your travels with us.

@nicolecampbell kids have two weeks of holidays so we decided to spend some days in Paris and some others in the south of France... ;) and that's true that I have been to Venice one month ago (thanks Easyjet for the cheap plane tickets ;))
@cocobella - I was telling my husband how you drove for 7 hours and visited three countries. We drove for 7.5 hours last week and stayed in the same state. I wish we lived in Europe and could travel like you do x
