As everybody on the planet ... or almost... we are in confinement.
Today I’ve to “fight” with my daughters who wanted to meet “just one friend” each ( I’m a bad mum) and my husband who wanted to see “just a friend” to smoke a cigar ( I’m a bad wife)...Switzerland where we live has said we are in in an “extraordinary situation” between Germany, France, Italy and Austria that have declared to be in “emergency”. But Switzerland just ask people to stay at home...
News from France are bad, very bad... especially in Mulhouse at only 30 km from where we live, so I’ve decided to apply to our family the same rules that in France : we stay at home, only once a day we allow ourselves to go outside half an hour for a quick walk with the dog in the wood.
My fridge was empty so I decided to go to the supermarket, some goods were missing like the classical toilet paper, not a lot of soap left but I manage to buy enough to be able to stay at home 4/5 days.
Schools of my girls are giving their lessons via internet and my husband is working from home.
So I’m ready to be the mean witch of the family.
Happily I’ve taken a lot of photos from our last trip in Brittany and I will downloading them.
Lovely lines in this photo and good example of negative space.
It’s good to be mean in this situation. Here in England it’s a bit ambiguous so we are still going out, for now, but keeping clear of others where possible.
Nice minimalist photo. And the story is just the beginning of the story we are going through. Fav good idea to stay at home. It is mandatory here but now also in France and the rest of Europe. Even the UK after the delirious project of protecting the country with herd immunity seems to have changed direction
i'm willing to stay home if my everyday view is like this. the sea, the sky are good for watching, for me, at least. aces on the shot. and you take care. here in canada, shops are open but hardly anyone comes out.
oh be the wicked witch if you have to - I've just sat in a teleconference with our state health service and we are learning from the mistakes made in early days of the outbreak. distance and hand washing - the 2 new golden rules. safe and hated will be better than the possible alternative!
