Anglo Saxon

Before we left London today, we spent a couple of hours in The British Museum. I hadn't been there for almost twenty years. The building itself is impressive but there is so much to see inside that is of international importance, it is a little overwhelming! The Anglo Saxon ship burial from Sutton Hoo in Suffolk has always fascinated me and I liked this side on view of the helmet.
