New Year at the Harbour by cookingkaren

New Year at the Harbour

Well after failing miserably with my third year on 365 last year, I’ve decided to give it another go. I miss it when I don’t participate so despite life sometimes being so busy I intend to try hard! I hope there are still lots of familiar faces on here! This one was taken on a family walk to the harbour while our new year’s day roast lamb slow cooked in the oven! A happy & healthy new year to all!
I have just finished year 4 (although year 3 was a bit of a wipe out...) so I know exactly how you feel. this year I didn't worry if I didn't post or take a shot everyday and sometimes just posted 3 from one day if I liked the shots. Its your project so make your own rules!

Karen, I've gotten behind, but miss the interactions and the amazing photos I see here...I wish you well in keeping going this year! Happy New Year.

@alinz good luck with it this year! I need to get more relaxed about it if I miss a day...or week...or month! 😂

It is a good idea, but I find that the lobster pot competes with the boats. A nice bokeh effect would help here, which I know is difficult to sort out with a smartphone. On the composition, the only thing I would change is by having a gap between the top of the lobster pots and the boat behind it. Devon has some fabulous photo opportunities for you.
