This amazing building was built as a residence for Isaac Singer in 1875. He was famous for the Singer sewing machine. Sadly the building is no longer open to the public and is in a state of disrepair. I'm not sure what the future holds for this grand building in Paignton but it is very sad to watch it fall into ever further decay. It was however, lovely to have a wander around the grounds today with my girls as they are now off school for Easter.
