Today marks 20 years since I lost my dear Dad. I can’t quite believe that so many years have passed. He was London born at the end of the war and named Bernie after Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery (with a middle name of Victor for victory!). He was a huge character, a publican, kind, generous, funny, a horse-racing fan and a brilliant singer! I think he had a voice like Nat King Cole! Anyway, I couldn’t let today pass without posting a pic of him. This is me in the high chair in 1972! ❤️
