The sun had gone in and I don't think there is ever a good photo of the vertical pier..... If something ever looked so out of place it's this. I'm afraid it's like marmite, you either love or hate it!!
Best viewed on large. Let me know what your opinion is.

Maybe, but it still looks very out of place, the two sides of the road do not marry up whatsoever. The place I am talking about is where they shot all the seafront takes for the film deliverance and it still looks in a 40- 60s time warp!!!!! Weird !!
It does stick out a bit in Redcar especially but I do like it! I enjoyed visiting it too, might have been the opening day but can't remember! There was a lot going on and a queue of people! Helter Skelter to us too!
