We have a newly fledged blackbird in our back garden today. Its mother keeps feeding but disappears as soon as she sees me. I did manage to catch the little ball of feathers waiting for the next tasty morsel before it ran to hide. Hopefully there will be no stray cats come over our fence to make it a tasty morsel!
