The Heather is out in full flower, a sight that is not seen for long. This was pointing my camera towards Westerdale, I was just above Kildale, I wish I could impart the wonderful fragrance of sweet honey that drifted on the breeze. On a still warm summers evening it's so heady that you could overdose quite easily, it doesn't happen very often but when it does you remember the year and the place!!
My memory is taking my mam out one evening in August 8 years ago over Commondale, bless her she's been gone for 6 years but I still remember that evening. It keeps the memory fresh in my mind as if it was yesterday......
