Fetch

Taken the other day, a cold wet blustery day with a few dog walkers out, I liked the reflections.
Better on black
I’m not feeling well today, my hubby has kindly shared his rotten viral cough and cold and I now have aches and flashing nerve pains everywhere. So forgive me for the short comments until I feel human again.
It’s been a rotten start to new year no mistake. We are still reeling from having both our cars stolen from our drive on fri/sat night. Right from under our noses, lowlives, they crawled in the front door rifled through the unit where we hid the keys out of sight crawled back out with two sets of keys and our house keys one set had my husbands car keys on. All this while we had full view of the front door and we heard nothing. They took my car at 9.43pm and because we couldn’t disable my husbands car as we only had one set of keys, he sat up all night and they came back for his at 5.20am and wrote it of within the hour. They stole a motor bike from another house and set it on fire within 30 mins??? There is no rhyme or reason to it. The poor lad has a 2,500 bill to pay because it was on credit and the insurers have got out of coughing up. We have CCTV footage which the police now have and every one has been so kind, with offers of lifts and shopping.
It’s now a waiting game.

Thank you for all your comments and favs all are so appreciated.
Very nice candid capture and I love the reflections. I hope you feel better soon, Margaret.

Oh, and how awful about your cars being stollen. What is wrong with some people. That's terrible and scary. I hope you get it all straightened out soon.

So sorry to hear that you are not well Margret and about you horrific start in the New Year! I thought we live in a horrible society, but I suppose it's the same all over the world. I hope you will be feeling better soon and that all other issues will be resolved asap. I can see why you liked this shot, I do too! Great reflections :-)

Nice beach play shot, anyway. I feel for you, so amazed to hear about how your cars were stolen - so mean and underhanded. Hope they are found and you are able to keep that cold in check....

I like the dog's sense of anticipation in this shot!
Sorry you've had such troubles to start the year, unbelievable that anyone would have the audacity to steal your cars like that, hope the police catch them. Such a bother for you though, especially when you're feeling under the weather. Hope you feel better soon.

Such bad luck Margaret the brass neck of them. Lets hope the CCTV identifies them. Here's hoping the rest of the years is much better. It's a nice shot here you've captured.

What a dreadful thing to happen Margaret. I do hope it's not too long before you get it sorted and that they catch the lowlives that did it.This wretched virus is affecting so many people. My son and his fiancé both had it over Christmas and the New Year. However this is a great picture I really like it

A lovely shot Margaret , but what rotten luck re your cars -- makes one see red and its very upsetting as there is no rhyme or reason for this kind of theft and vandalism ! I hope with the aid of the CCTV footage they will soon be caught and dealt with appropriately !! Keep your pecker up and hope you will get rid of the that cough and cold asap !!

Good heavens, what an awful start to the year you have had. I do hope things improve. Sorry to hear you have picked up your hubby's germs too.

Yikes what a dramatic start of a New Year. I hope the culprits are caught soon and made to pay every penny. To me it is not satisfactory getting the insurance money without the robbers being caught. As for today's picture it is a lovely winter scene and some nice reflections to go with it.
