A lovely peaceful afternoon spent here sketching, it’s a beautiful spot and now the kids are back at school you can get parked.
It’s across the moors in a steep dip, sheltered with a running river which draws every child In the summer months to go net fishing or just to paddle. The road that leads down to the ford you see in the picture is covered with heather and bracken and the road you see in the picture takes you up to the top of the moors. This is a little oasis in the middle of nowhere.
Nice on black
Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
It's a beautiful spot. The water must get deep at times, if the measuring stick is any indication. I also find it odd the measuring stick is in feet rather than meters.
That looks absolutely fabulous - I have not come across this lovely place before. I must seek it out next time I am up there! What a super composition for this lovely shot.
