Taken this afternoon, the light was not good and they are burning heather again. I liked this shot because it shows how pretty the moor is even as we move into winter, there is a beauty in the bleakness.
Castleton is just in the dip behind the sheep, the road in the distance is coming out of Castleton, left turn is Blakey Ridge and to the right is Westerdale.

Fav. My first thought when I saw this was: wow a huge Christmas scene and was almost looking for the crib. No Christmas celebrations this year from what I see - so sad.
