I have never seen a black and white duck

I was focusing on the two duck in the foreground but when I looked at the photo after, I noticed a third duck. A black and white duck, which I have never seen before.

Could be a barrows golden eye. There is a great app for identifying birds and it’s called merlin bird i’d.You can take a photo on your phone within the app and it will identify it for you

@moonmtn Yes, I think that’s what it is. I’ve never seen them in the Seattle area.
