Early this morning Kyla and I hit the road for Eastern washington to get some fall colors. I think we may have gone a week or 2 early but we plan on going back.
I fell walking down a steep area that was all different size rocks leading to the river bed. I fell. I literally felt my little finger bend backwards, I hurt my hip and ankle. For the first 2 hours my last 2 fingers were numb and my hand hurt. Going to have a bruised hand and quite swollen for the time being. But the pictures come first. The next stop Kyla loses her car key in the rocks. We are out with no cell phone nor anyway back into the car. We decided we wouldn't leave that riverbed until the key was found. Only took about 10 minutes so that was good. The next stop I made it halfway back up the rocks when some man called out to me that my phone was down on the rocks.
All and all we had a good day and a 11 hour road trip.
