we've had lots of nice rain over the past week with the sun shining through from time to time. I saw this as I was driving home and jumped out of the car to catch it on my point and shoot. Pity the lamp post photo bombed my composition but I like it anyway.
I swear, I didn't notice the lamp post until you mentioned it!! It blends so well in with the silhouettes of the tree limbs!! It looks like the sky can't make up it's mind if it wants to shine or be cloudy!! I love clouds so this is an instant FAV from me!!

I know the Callistemon is from Australian origin. For that mine can only be outside in summer. In winter I`ve to protect it for cold weather inside the house.
@cruiser In Holland we have a great tradition and knowledge of sub- and tropical plants growing in pots. They where store and keep in winter in glasshouses by the ( big) house we call : Orangerie.
I`v n`t one . I store it in winter on my attic /loft room.
