This Tufted Titmouse was braving the cold and a young Cooper's Hawk to feed at our feeders. I have never seen birds feed with a Cooper's hawk nearby. This hawk was only about 15 feet away. I kept thinking one of these little guys was going to end up being lunch, but it never happened.
That little titmouse doesn't look so sure of herself so it's a good thing that hawk didn't swoop in and take her! I like how you photographed her in the snow.
