Today I was back in Cleveland again and had 2 hours to look for a snowy owl. I drove 35 minutes west to Lorain harbor when there has been an owl. After searching for about 20 minutes I saw a group of photographers. This told me where to go. When I got there the owl was present but the wind was blowing so hard that one photographer had his camera and tripod get blown off the pier and into the lake. This shot is lacking crispness because of the difficulty keeping focus with the camera getting blown so much. Hopefully next time I can get a better shot.
How exciting .... and heartbreaking for the camera that went into the water. If I'm lucky I just might get a snowy this winter but not holding my breath.
