This hungry black bear gave Connie and I a show a couple of Septembers ago in Grand Teton NP. We were standing by the trail while looking for an owl when we heard some rustling of the bushes. We turned around and found this guy about 10 feet from us eating berries. It was such a cool encounter.
10 feet away?? i'd have a heart attack, just from all stories i've heard about bears! this has to be a juvie, yes? great capture, the texture of its fur is awesome. aces!
