Grey & cloudy this morning, but around lunchtime the sun came out. After lunch I took a break from sorting paperwork and decided to tackle the vegetation. One of the shrubs has large pink flowers, which always look like they need an iron, was looking rather sad and has quite a lot of dead leaves on it. I was cutting away at this section, when my eye was caught by these two red ladybirds. I didn't have the heart to chop that branch of, as they were 'snug as a bug'!
I was struck by the contrast between the brown leaves and the red Ladybirds and between the living and the dead.
