Though plenty have admired the stylish decor,
no feet have sullied the stair carpet, or played hopscotch upon the tiled floor,
No-one has slid down the bannisters, nor have any teddies have been lobbed on to unsuspecting persons below.
For this is no ordinary room, it is a miniature room,
part of the Carlisle Collection of miniature rooms at Nunnington Hall in Yorkshire.
After a tour of the house and the gardens, which still had an impressive number of blooms, we followed the Dragon's trail, through the village before heading off to admire the views from Rievault Terrace.
