Today was our Macmillan Tea Party.
One of the star attractions was this amazing cake,
made by a close relative of a close relative.
Instead of asking people to guess the weight of the cake, we aked them to come up with a name for the cake
We then asked everyone present to vote for the name they thought best,
'Up The Garden Path' won, by one point from "Where Have All The Flowers Gone?".
The cake was won by a lady who is setting up a new charity to offer counselling support to bereaved children, and will be used to raise money for this charity at an event being held in a few days.
Thanks to all who came. We raised £235.29 for Macmillans.
