I know I live in a chaotic household...
but it is not normal to find a glass candleholder upside down on your lounge floor...
So I picked it up, and jumped as I noticed that underneath was a spider!!!
I replaced it very quickly even though it didn't move!
I wondered how long it had been there and if it had died of asphyxiation....
A few moments later my daughter arrived home from school, she entered the lounge, saw the candleholder
"Do you know what's under there! It's a spider!
and before I could stop her she lifted the candleholder off.
"Arghhhh! Don't do that!" I cried and went to get a glass from the kitchen and a piece of card.
The spider was successfully recaptured and shown the door.

I liked how the circular pattern on the glass puts the focus on the intruder...
