Today we headed off to Carding Mill valley, and the plan was to walk further up the valley, than the brief visit allowed last time. The Knotty haired Teen remembered spare trousers and socks, but put her trainers on her feet, not in the bag and arrived minus her wellies!
The heavy rain yesterday meant that we couldn't get over the stepping stones without the Knotty Haired getting her feet wet, so we took the higher level walk back towards the reservoir. This involved climbing up a very steep path, which certainly warmed us up!
We then drove down into town to find a cafe serving bacon sandwiches, before exploring the charity shops
