Painted lady

This butterfly was a real tease on my walk - sooo well camouflaged! Very pretty when the wings are open but too cold and windy this evening.

I find it so hard to photograph butterflies with their wings open, but I keep trying! Hope you're enjoying your Summer. Haven't seen you in a while.
