When I looked at the living room window, I felt someone's eyes on me. I looked closer and saw my garden rabbit peeking at me. This rabbit has taken refuge in my front garden all year. Normally, I do not like rabbits in my garden. However, this one has worked its way into my heart. The rabbit hides from the neighborhood predators (AKA dogs and cats) and the city's birds of prey by snuggling into the garden vegetation in the growing season. Now, the rabbit is snuggling down into the tree leaves. This rabbit is different than most garden rabbits. I have only caught it eating one half of one hosta leaf. The other rabbits are not welcome, because they will eat everything in my garden down to the ground. My winter (and summer) garden is welcome to hide in my front garden anytime it wants to do so.
Have a good Christmas! :)
