February 3: BW Sunrise

My eyes were drawn to how the sunlight was lighting up the clouds during the sunrise. This image is for the Flash of Red (BW) challenge. The theme for February 1-3 is light. I liked how the sunlight was lighting up the top edge of the bottom cloud.

@tonygig @craftymeg @congaree Thank you. I think my mood at seeing gray skies influenced how I took this shot. We have had so many gray skies.

@sangwann @pyrrhula Thank you. I struggled with having a sunrise shot in BW, but I do like how the BW emphasized the gray skies.

@olivetreeann Thank you. I took a bunch of shots and then cropped this one a little to get this image. Most of my shots were the horizontal landscape format, but I liked this vertical portrait format the best.
