June 21: Swamp Milkweed

The Swamp Milkweed is a native flower in my state. I do not know much about this plant. I grow it because the butterflies are supposed to like it.

I'm wondering if that's what I found and didn't know what it was - it had attracted the lone zebra swallowtail in the area.

@milaniet @thewatersphotos I haven't seen any butterflies on the milkweed blossoms yet.
