Deerfield Beach pier

Lazy day. Rain bands from Isaac come and go, but overall not bad. Still, can't get motivated to do much, so I am using one of yesterdays photos.

The sea was so pretty. This pier was heavily damaged in Wilma and they are completely rebuilding it. Part of it has Ben open for a bit and it was full of fishermen yesterday. They are finishing up part of it, to be opened soon. Notice it should withstand hurricanes better now!

@ariel817 Thanks, Linda. It's still coming through today. Seems stronger today! Other than a few lost tree limbs and chairs thrown in the pool, all seems well. At least son's girlfriend's car was not under the tree that lost the limbs! Grateful! :-)
