What a challenging word: parking lot! Though my profession is real estate and I have sold many commercial buildings, this word had me stumped for creativity. I think of them as functional and not beautiful or even interesting!
I had to meet a seller to pick up some keys, so we met in a parking lot. I listened to some voice mails. I listened to the radio,my beloved Gators playing football. I saw scattered shopping carts. We met at the gym where I used to go. Not so packed on a Saturday afternoon.
I considered driving over to the Casino, as that parking lot is always packed. But, then I remembered a nearby shopping center was having a function today, sponsored by S. Florida Parenting Magazine. I drove to my favorite part of the parking lot (4th level of the garage for great views) and spied on the happenings from a distance. Holiday fun in the parking lot!
Wow....nice shot....and shirt sleeves yet! Lucky you. We have one parkade in our city...at the hospital where I work....but it has no view! So I went for a different interp!
It's nice to see people enjoying the out of doors at what appears to be a fun event and they aren't wearing coats or jackets. Great perspective Danette!
