No moonrise for us tonight! by danette

No moonrise for us tonight!

Rushed to the beach after church to capture the moonrise. Too much of a cloud cover, but to the west the sky was very nice.
Beautiful light and silhouettes. I was thinking of going out for moonrise tonight, but the clouds are moving in.

@megmills S. Florida, Deerfield Beach! Palms do make good silhouettes.

@danette yes they do make good silhouettes....we have a lot of palms here in Arizona, too. I'm always looking for the same kind of place as you captured...palms with sunset behind them. So pretty!

Now, THAT is a perfect tropical sunset. I love the palms against the amber sky with the cloud tracery.
Absolute Fav

*I clicked onto your project after seeing a comment you made on the lizard shot from bardejov. You said you had seen one recently and I HAD to see where the heck you live that you see huge freakin' lizards in the wild. LOL
That is pretty darned cool. :-)

@pasadenarose Haha! I so much needed the laugh! We do have large iguanas in the wild after people buy them and then tire of them, so they turn them loose! Poor things. A cold winter 2 years ago killed many of them. I changed my profile recently and I don't remember if I still say I live in S Fla. thanks for stopping by!
