As I mentioned yesterday, Shingle Creek Resort borders the actual Shingle Creek, which is the Headwaters to the Everglades. Today, I found the nature trail that brought me here. They no longer tell you where it is, as tourists were thinking the alligators were statues! I had little time, but what a great find this was! I absolutely love how the resort has used native landscaping to blend in with the surrounding areas.
