Did you hear the good news?

I local church assembles a town of Bethlehem each year. For about 5 nights, you can enter their re-created village and feel how it felt 2014 years ago when Christ was born. It is a fascinating experience. Tonight was the last night. I foolishly thought if we went late we wouldn't have to wait long. However, the line was at about an hour long and it was already 8:30. We stayed and enjoyed the hand bells they had, but did not wait in line. These wise men were outside of the walls of Bethlehem, as were the nasty Roman soldiers! They play their parts well.
We went to something similar to this the weekend. We got there early and was in and out in about 45 minutes.

Very nice capture and it must have been a lovely display to see. Some churches in our area have drive-thru Nativity scenes.

@froggie0628 @joemuli @homeschoolmom @carlt @pammerritt @chard @danette Apparently they had 2700 people just on one night and I am sure last night there were more.

I did!
I got to play one of the kings a number of years ago. We had a young mother and father play Mary and Joseph and their newborn child was the baby Jesus! It was a memorable cantata.
