Marshes and Hammocks

On our way out to the Gulf of Mexico, we passed miles of untouched Florida.
Wonderful! I need to explore more!

@photographycrazy I'm just fascinated with all the variation in Florida, and I'm a native!

The only hammocks I like are the ones between two trees.

Is there really any left. When I lived there in the 70's there were lots more open space. One of the reasons I left was because of all the building.

@joansmor I live in S. Florida where it is highly developed. We traveled the long road to get to Crystal River and drove through much undeveloped land. I was actually surprised that we drove for 5 hours through few towns. Most of it was cattle ranchland.

@joansmor If you haven't been back, Lake Worth is much different today! Yes, lots of people in this area.

@danette I have been back and am always glad I left. My sister now lives in Hollywood. I would not move back to Florida and she would not move back to Maine. LOL
