@777margo Our church is all about Jesus and His Word. Our area is nearly 95% unchurched. It is a way to bring people to church who would not ordinarily come. They are required to be there for the service prior to the event. It's very family oriented.
@777margo No, everyone has to sit through a church service before getting candy from decorated car trunks. It's a way to provide a safe area and show that the church is a place to come.
I don't usually associate church and halloween together, but the trunk or treats seem to be popular any more. But, making them set through church first to get the candy is a good idea. Our church has a big trunk or treat. We've never gone.
sounds a clever way to get people to church. we celebrate All Hallows Eve in our church with tomorrow being All Saints day when we celebrate all Saints known and unknown.
