I thought a leaf was curled up on the tree, so I grabbed it. EEK!! It was this iguana or maybe an anole. He was mad and wouldn't let me get a better pic.

That photo and image are so stunningly *Perfect*!!! What a gorgeous little creature! I don't believe you've got an iguana in this picture, but do you have them in the wild there? I love them! They actually are very cool to hold...they feel amazing!

@Weezilou I think he might be an iguana. A young one because he is only about a foot long. Yes, we have them in the wild. Mostly because people tire of them and let them go, which is unfortunate. But, they do well outside unless it gets cold. A few years back, we had a very cold winter. Iguanas look dead in the cold, but really they are just in an altered state.

Oh my goodness...love that eye that he's "not" watching you with. Such a lovely vibrant green with terrific detail on the scales.
