With the comments about my parents' gravestone, here is an old photo of them dancing at my sister's wedding. I have quite a few of them dancing over the years. (This is not my photo.) I think this one shows how much fun they always had dancing. They would clear the dance floor!
The photo shows pure happiness and full of life! We all wish we could stop time. I do not handle loss well at all, even though it is part of life. Beginnings are so joyous and departures are so difficult...even if it was time and their loss of quality of life. I think that happens to help us from being self-centered to letting them go. The ones that grieve are the ones left behind.
This proves what a treasure some photos are! Wish I had more photos of my parents... good reminder that photos of people and relationships mean the most!
