Tampa's City Hall has a clock tower at the top, thanks to a woman in 1915 who insisted the new city hall have one! I think it is a beautiful building, but especially find it interesting that a woman named Hortense was instrumental in the history. For some reason, my dad would occasionally call me Hortense.
