My aunt (90 years old!) has had a difficult 6 weeks with her 97 year old husband having brain surgery. He finally came home last Thursday. However, her brother (on the right, 95!) was losing his wife and they lived a few hours away. She called me yesterday to see if I could take her to see them before she passed. Of course I would. Her son was busy taking care of his father still. We had the most enjoyable time driving through Old Florida and actually the town where her husband lived as a child. She pointed out to me where his parents had lived. We had a nice visit with my uncle. His wife passed before we could get there. :-( In the middle is his son, my cousin, whom I have not seen in decades. I told my aunt it was our privilege to take her today.
What a family history! You clearly descent from a healthy lineage with good longevity! Your aunt is "pretty as a picture"! What a sweet face! Your story of time spent together is so endearing...I can't think of a better use of your time! You've got such a good heart!
