Florida vs. wyoming by danette

Florida vs. wyoming

We were watching a video about the geology of our National Parks. It occurred to me that, in some ways, the way the springs bubble up in Florida are similar to the mud pots in Yellowstone National Park. Except one is 72 degrees and clear and the other is about 192 degrees! I thought the similarities, while being almost opposite, was fascinating.
That is rather amazing, well observed.

I grew up by Yellowstone and loved the paint pots, but they smell like sulphur very strongly.

@rhoing sounds interesting. We are sporadically watching about the geology in our national parks. A little detailed but fascinating.
