This little oasis is actually in a shopping center about a mile from my house. The trees are full of heron nests. This afternoon, I watched one of the herons retrieve nesting materials. It's all a little far for my lens, but I got a few decent shots. If you look closely in the trees to the right, you might see a bird or two.
Pretty warm looking spot! I found a bird in the treetop and something interesting further right and looks like it has a striped tail. Supposed to snow here tomorrow. Enjoy that sunshine!
@thewatersphotos it’s a wonderful place. I didn’t think others knew about it, but there was another photographer there today decked out in camo gear, a tripod and birding lens.
