Super shot. Don't feel too sorry for him, herons often stand on one leg with the other leg tucked under his feathers. So I don't think he is a one legged heron, just keeping his other leg warm. fav

@rickster549 when I originally saw the photo when I took it, I thought he had tucked up a leg. But they don’t typically fly from one place to another and keep the leg tucked.
