Cypress Forest by danette

Cypress Forest

Yet another ecosystem within Everglades National Park are the cypress trees. This one is a large forest. Cypress trees like water. In the winter, they are bare. I imagine during the spring this will be a beautiful bright green. The elevation nearby this boardwalk is 3' above sea level!
Fabulous shot of this lovely walkway through the forest.

A very typical winter scene with bare trees, except you have sunshine! I agree, what a nice walkway to enjoy this wonderful place.
