I was excited that the skies were clear last night for the almost full moon. A friend wants me to take some full moon shots. When we got to the beach, though, the moon didn't appear as expected. It took at least another 30 minutes before we could see it. While we are thankful that the dust from the Sierra desert has kept hurricanes at bay this summer, it is mucking up our skies.
