My Little Town by danette

My Little Town

I was born a few miles away, right on this very street. A place where my father was born. I don't think I've actually sat on this beach since I was 10, when we first moved back to Florida. Oh, what I sunburn I got that day! Today would have been my parents 68th anniversary.
A lovely dedication to your parents and their anniversary. I've had a few sunburns in my youth, too. The things we did then.

@marlboromaam today, everyone had tents and umbrellas. When we went, we literally had a towel!

@danette Just a towel or an old quilt and maybe a picnic basket. =) No umbrella or chair.

Love that water color. The water up here near Jax, just doesn't ever seem to get to that clear colored water. Great shot.

What a colourful scene and a lovely memory. We all used to get sunburnt when we were kids didn't we. No sunblock in those days

This is so tack-sharp perfect that even the movement of a wave didn't break the tranquility! And those colors...the reflected light!!! This is simply drop-deal gorgeous and looks like an illustrated poster to beckon visitors to Florida! Beautiful! IMHO, this deserves the Popular Page at the very least!
