S Florida is not known for keeping old buildings. This building has sat vacant and for sale. When I saw the fence go up,I thought for sure it was next to be razed. I was surprised to drive by today and see a spruced up parking lot and painted building! I was excited!
Side note: it was the Farm Bureau building when this area was more rural. My aunt’s brother-in-law was the 9th President of the Florida Farm Bureau and the first full time one.
