A first for me after many a year trying to capture a decent picture of a Robin. This picture was taken last week in Wales, again in the same place as the Chaffinch picture i posted recently. As this is a picnic area he was tame enough to get pretty close enough to photograph, at one point i thought he might take some bread from my hand but he was startled and flew off.
Thank you to everyone who commented on yesterday's Egg picture. Loving the fact the the majority of comments carried on with the egg joked laden write up that went with it :)
Thanks for the faves and placing it on the PP too, as usual it's all very much appreciated.
Darren, this is a really lovely shot. Beautiful detail and you have captured the typical enquiring look of a robin too. (I've been trying to get a robin shot for ages.) Fav!
Fab shot of a beautiful plump little Robin - so you find the Welsh birds more accommodating ??(I hasten to add ,birds of the feathered variety !!)This little Robin seems to be keeping an eye on you !!
Well done He actually looks 3D he's so sharp. I managed a Robin myself at the end of last month but he wouldn't move out of the shadows! http://365project.org/angelar/365/2013-02-28
