Might have had something to do with always being picked last in P.E. classes at school? (Not very good memories!)
Darts and snooker are probably the only two sports that i keep an eye on. In this household however Saturday afternoons are a football only zone - the telly is permanently positioned on Sky Sports News as the results roll in over 3 hours. Not my choosing obviously, but having a partner that literally approves all sports known to man, i retreat to my music room and indulge in some me time! After nearly 18 years together, it is now an unspoken rule and you know what? I'm fine with that.
Great pov. I was (and still am) useless at sports and have no interest at all. Husband is the complete opposite and I am quite happy to do my own thing when he is watching football so I know how you feel!
I love your title - I remember 'listening' to an ex watch darts (couldn't bring myself to watch) and hearing the announcer do the 180 thing. I used to walk around saying that just to annoy.
