The amount of Buttercups that have sprung up lately around here has been nothing short of phenomenal. I don't ever remember seeing so many.
The weather being as it has this year, a long cold Easter followed by a dry spell and now sunny with plenty of heavy showers has shifted the seasons exponentially. I mean how often are Bluebells still around and healthy in late May?
Anyway, to celebrate this (or not) I've combined the two beautiful contrasting flowers for the picture featured.
Just beautiful! I was thinking exactly the same today - I really had expected the bluebells to have disappeared by the time I got back from holiday, but they are still going - very unusual.
