In celebration of what seems like the summer finally arriving, i'm going to post a set of shots taken on various walks and visits made recently (and upcoming), to numerous places along the South coast and here in the West Midlands.
As i spent most of last week out and about taking shots in the sunshine, i thought i would use the month of July as a showcase for summer.
To start off with, this shot was taken during a forest walk on Saturday which turned out to be one of the warmest days of the year so far.
It looked a little pasty as just a green leaf on a tree so i've done some editing to turn it into a fake autumn one instead!
Also, would just like to say a BIG thank you again to everyone who has commented and left favs over the last few days. A number of my shots these last 2 weeks have reached the PP and all because of you lovely super people. I'm sorry my commenting has been sparse and sporadic recently - but after having some time off for my birthday and not being around so much, everything will settle back down this coming week. :)
Super image, whatever the season, Darren! Excellent editing! Fav! (Like you, I used to live by the sea, but not now, you always miss it! -your posting 10/06/13)
