For the month of July - and as we are currently in the middle of a heatwave here in the UK, I'm celebrating summer and all it's many offerings!
Today after finishing work i went in search of some poppies and although i never managed to find a field full of them, i did manage to find a field with the odd one or two growing within.
I didn't hang around too long, as the sun has been beating down today and that combined with the heat tends to make me uncomfortable :(

I saw that you hoste the Mundane-Glass Challenge for Jo. That's great. I hoste the Abstract Challenge and came across your writing about this challenge. I informed Jo that I was going to hoste the Abstract Challenge and that I was very curious to hear from her what the theme would be. But I think she forgot to tell you because I never heard anything... So today I read about the new theme.
@stimuloog Yes, she asked me to host it for her and that she'd emailed me her suggestion - but i don't think i received the first email, i think it must have gone into my junk file, but it's all sorted now thankfully. Also it's now allowed you to set up the abstract challenge too! I'm planning a couple of shots for both challenges myself and will submit them soon :)
